There is a missing chapter but I can’t remember the site that I seen it on, but there is a missing chapter that seems to be him escaping the city after the guards come for him and he leaves his party.

Well, that was quite a time skip, so I guess it makes sense to fill in some of the gaps, but if they were going to show all this to begin with…
why not just stick with chronological order?
It’s less disruptive to an immersive reading experience, and I don’t see that anything was gained by the gratuitous mucking about with the timeline…
