He lived with Kaeha for a decade after she made it clear she was attached to him, and helped her raise her kids, and she helped raise his. They shared their whole lives for that time. Still, in all that time, it never occurred to him what might matter to her, even though he had lived an entire life as a human. This is what bothers me, that he can’t seem to perceive other people as real people with their own lives, they are just NPCs in his story. I hope he will eventually realise his selfish folly, that would make for an amazing character arc.

I just wanted to read an easy going slice of life manga to pass the time instead you have hit me right in the feels.
So she is a 30 year old Milf, I like it. But this makes me sad

Everything is ok till now but the kids part really freaked out? Is Author a pathetic ntr loving guy? Destroyed the essence of beautiful narration and meaning. He could have wrote like she got married and had kids and parted away with husband or he just died in some incident. To be honest I am standing on million lives anime did more justice. Dropping this manga

That’s the gift of being an immortal, you get to witness firsthand a beautiful life story of someone, may it be rich or poor, birth and death of civilizations, stars and the beautiful scenery of the end of a universe. It’s not eternal suffering, it’s a ticket to movie show only you can watch, cry, laugh and love.
Sad? no. this is beautiful. this is life.
