First comment bruh didn’t read the book btw

This is peak corporate manga. Polished art is not drawn into the panels, but drawn and then cropped into the panels. Evey detail is finished, no fading edges or smudging, no uneven textures. Characters are optimized for cuteness and crowd-pleasing, no quirky or controversial elements. Story is all about creating the central conflict and teasingly not resolving it, because that’s what makes a comic interesting, right? There is ample evidence that a team worked hard to put this together from a template, and zero evidence of an artist’s vision.
What makes a book compelling is when someone you care about and/or relate to has a conflict crop up in their established existence. You want to see how they will handle it, what will change, will there be loss or gain. None of that is present here. These are paper dolls, it’s plain that they exist only as props in a play. The second chapter in particular feels like the opening of a hentai, because characters you don’t believe in are doing things you wouldn’t expect them to in order to get into a sticky situation.
It’s not awful, but it’s plain why it didn’t succeed. There were 8 and a half chapters (because half-chapters are pure profit!) over a year and then it quietly died. Still, someone is keeping it off most of the pirate sites, and it went on sale in France as a paperback last year, so The Corporation is still trying to make money from it. This is an easy skip, but it’s cute, and probably not a bad fap if you like the ntr stuff, so YMMV. MangaMirror has the rest if you’re desperate.
Summary: A boy and girl from a tiny country town are somewhere between 9 and 23 years old and somehow completely unfamiliar with the concept of coupling. They arrive in Tokyo on their first day at their new elementary high college university classes. Everyone in Tokyo is sure they are lovers but they are TOO INNOCENT and also have the hots for the first people they meet. Everywhere they go, the girl wanders off like a lost duck and is dragged towards a love hotel by wolves dressed as older boys but she is saved at the last minute by declaring that her boyfriend is not kissing her.
