So the a son of a noble is higher then a grandson of an emperor. Sorry Prince trumps any noble.
This treatment received by the prince is just too strange. And the fact that the MC accepts this and doesn’t want to run away to build something of his own using his power is even worse. The story has potential, but these contradictions need to be fixed. The MC has no reason to continue living under the rules of that empire, he could go somewhere else.
