Stories like these.. so consistent with murder for the most shallow reasons. It shows up so commonly in stories from china.. I wonder why.
So far, no one apart from Akira and the MC have been likeable, not even this love interest of the MC. Just all terrible people.

The guy with glasses think he is special and he is only A rank as nothing special.
Also if the rank is so important then how does an A rank dare to even think he is on par with an S rank ? Coming from family of privilege and think god gifted you an A rank. Well the gift would be when you are a S rank and not A to feel so arrogant.
And for the school part how does it even make sense to send children to take care of the dungeon when that should be the job of instructors. Never mind that they are in a dangerous place so they should have some paid hunters to protect the school so it would be their job to clean the dungeon. They basically send their next generation hope to die when they are not even developed enough so they lose a lot of these high rank people. Especially when these children are so arrogant cause they think they are all powerful just cause of the rank they have
