Surprised she isn’t trying a more (but still mild) approach to curing the curse. She has the power of light, while her sister may be stronger, trying cumulative treatments might work as well. They are dealing with an 18 year timer. Her sister has the power to nuke the curse with love and s#x in the future. Nothing alluded that kissing and larger skin to skin contact over time wouldn’t slow down if not stop the curse.
