guys hear me out, what if the curse isn’t actually a curse but a weapon that was gifted by the goddess of light as a secret weapon of sorts, it wouldn’t make sense to curse someone with something they could control and use for their benefit, maybe the way to control the curse has been lost to time as the empires almost a millennia old now
