Yeah but I cannot follow where you are going in this chapter. I am lost in this chaos
now i didn’t expect this guy to have such a firm stance. I thought that he held all the power in the church too that was wrong. But his speech was toward the human side only. Is this also a trick ? It’s becoming hard to see through all these guys, I hope they all have nuanced of thinking and evolving. Like this girl Saia who begins to help the non humans.
This manga is peak-tier until now.

Okay, I will stand corrected. I was totally wrong about the Archbishop. I had him pegged as a racist who wanted genocide of non-humans. Now I can see that Amami and Ecles will be the union that joins science and magic into a better future. This series is certainly taking me on a roller coaster of emotions. Loving it even more each day!

I’m sensing some Romeo and Juliet vibes of this (not the romance but the plot). 
This may be a tragic story, when the protagonist and the antagonist share a common goal, nothing good will end…
Anyone else notice that the healers all look like mana spin-offs of famous musicians? I am seeing Elvis, Michael Jackson, Billie Eilish, and Ringo Starr (the Beetles). The girl in the middle is too generic to place. The guy up front with the horns and the guy in pinstripes I cannot place either.
OK but why do they look so goofy 
I hope this Ecles guy just looks like griffith, and not acts like him
