What happened to this manga?
The protag is unlikeable due to his bullshit level of pride. He’d rather die and let the rest of the world risk ruin than concede a bullshit point of view. He needs to be more pragmatic about things. Dogmatic people need to pull their heads out of their asses.
The temple or whatever they call themselves are just greedy and corrupt, and a waste of time. Especially that head priest or whatever she is.
.. and it has the shit tropes about weapons – swords and daggers.
The is no one weapon to rule them all – it’s all about context – pick the weapon based on the situation – each fight, battle and location, time of day, weather will have a different set of best weapons.
Well that’s great and all, but I’m having a hard time caring about his well-being when he literally refused to a use a proper weapon just to prove a point and put the entire continent’s lives in danger to do so. Though I guess the next sword is going to be made out its horn. So I’m looking forward to that.
