the mc is in the middle of a delicate operation… why the heck would he release the captured female general from his castle NOW… EVEN BEFORE CONFIRMING IF HER INFORMATION IS ACCURATE and not wait till later?

REALLY?! by not using any stealth tactics or disguises… MC might as well have sent a giant pacific rim robot to stomp through the city as a distraction… that would have been more stealthy than his current tactics…
