you know, this chapter actually redeems the series.
MC, is a spoiled 1st world idiot unaware of the suffering and the human nature of those around him. He is reincarnated into a hellish world, in a FLYING castle, with amenities that are from our wildest dreams. When he sees legitimate suffering, he attempts to get involved out of misguided obligation.
Yet he is a fool, he did not attempt to learn the history of the peoples he is dealing with, he did not attempt to learn the political landscape, he just rushed in.
And now, now he has a problem. this is a very realistic part of the series. It shows that even if you have a flying castle and an army of robots if you are a dumbass then they won’t matter.

The elven mage is an idiot. How can he go against his master? One order, and he will be, once again, a loyal tool. This time, though, stored somewhere till he’s needed.

his thought proccess is really strange… enemy wanst to invade his castle and kill him plus harm the people he rescued and considers family… he is perfectly fine with going and stealing from the person who wants to kill him to provoke them… but not fight back?

This was fun when it was a guy in a super awesome flying castle.
Now it’s just the military skirmish that never ever ends
