Since it’s part of what’s essentially a divine “blessing”, they very likely won’t be able to remove anything. The only reason she’s emotionless is because experiences hit her differently than ordinary people. She couldn’t find satisfaction in many aspects of daily life anymore because her body became too tough to appreciate the simple pleasures. It’s a psychological side-effect of her condition that since challenges don’t get her down as much as ordinary people, compensation from what humans find as relief to struggle is something she can’t appreciate as much anymore.
The best they can do is to compensate is by giving her better quality of life. In Ruti’s case, the emotional experience of being with the people she loves, who love her back.
That said, Ruti now has a new sister, and we all know what Lit is like. I think she and Red will be able to give her what she needs.
