Doesn’t understand, unable to understand, doesn’t WANT to understand…and unable to learn, evidently. Some Great Sage…can’t be taught, and won’t listen to anyone just because he absolutely believes he’s the smartest one in the room, while everyone else recognizes he’s one of the most defective and just barely tolerates him.
Little sis should be released from her bounds and just be allowed to kill him already like she once did. The only reason he’s still alive is because she put him back together.

regardless the visualization of ones that follows (read:being a slave of an impulse of) their own protection like glasses-sage are too obvious, it also aligned with his own personal desire to be famous, rich and being the respected most.
i think glasses sage is the best sample of how a human can maximized their own protection (wise) to find the most wise way to support their (dark) desire. whilst ruti was at the other side of the coin. she still cant find a way to use her protection for her own desire.
and MC is in the balanced state. do what he desires whilst controlling his protection.
