A brief description of the manga I was reincarnated as a blind girl – I rely on my previous life’s memories and magic to survive
Countess Phyllis is reincarnated with memories of her previous life intact. Phyllis is mistreated by her family because she is blind. She has a constitution that somehow has more mana than others, and one of the reasons she is heavily disliked is because of her ability to use magic without difficulty.
As the story begins, Phyllis is attacked by demons while out on the road. She then finds herself alone at the bottom of a deep valley… In despair, she is saved by a large wolf, a “sacred beast” of legend.
Together with this wolf, Garu, Phyllis sets out on her adventure.
Only 8 chapters but it’s better than a lot of betrayal manga already. While I feel it might’ve made more sense if it was a rival noble family that was targeting her, but the whole trying to keep the familys magic bloodline pure is a pretty believable motive especially since she’s not an “official” child. This is one of the few manga that has a sensible and believable motive for the MC to get betrayed/kickout/ect.
Dude, with the number of “I was reincarnated as” title, I have a strange feeling that japanese writers are just throwing shi* on the wall to see what stick….
