i love the protagonist but like bro he knows he’s in another world magic took him there why would he assume elves are not real like id just except whatever i see as real if i was him lol

Now that I think about it, I wonder if the MC is really alive? Is he not stuck between two worlds and the shop is a gate between? He never get out of the shop but how does he deal with food? Do we ever see him eating?

Seeing as how the invading black mages appear to him as a bunch of police officers he doesn’t seem to be able to comprehend or even perceive the supernatural of the world he is in.. them casting idk.. a fireball would probably look to him like them throwing a grenade. I wonder if he will wake up from his illusion and see the world like it truly is and himself as the entity he seems to be..
Up til now the misunderstandings have been perfectly understandable but him not knowing that shes an elf, when he’s supposed to be a reader is pushing it, I really hope this doesn’t become like eminence in shadow that drags out the insensible misunderstandings.
didn’t this guy use a magic formula to summon an eldritch being to send him to another world? and he’s assuming the elf is a cosplayer and is acting like magic doesn’t exist?
between that and the normal-ass smartphones and computers i think the writer/artist might be a bit of a fu cking idiot
The most ridiculous words to come out of this guys mouth are, ‘I understand’. Nobody in this story up to now has understood ANYTHING. If someones say’s it’s raining it’s taken as a metaphor for something totally different. In a sane world, what a person says is exactly what they mean and doesn’t need a translation. And why would he assume that this elf is actually a cosplayer ? He’s visited by a violent weirdo in a mask and has a ‘little friend; called ‘Inky’, and has had Ji Zhixu in his shop several times and has obviously seen that she’s got pointy ears… does he think she’s a bloody cosplayer as well ?
Didn’t it get established in the early chapters that he went to another world and one of the prices he had to pay was never going back to 🌎Earth? Why is he assuming there’s no elves specially when every morning he listened to news on the neighbours tv😑 why is he in denial when he supposedly summoned a demon and crossed a magic door.

Now that’s a proper stretch.. At this point, he’s just making up random shit that has nothing to do with what the customers are talking about.. In the Wilde thing, from his perspective, there was 0 reason to open with the snake story. He only learned that the “son is back” after he finished it, and even then he straight up told him to cut the son off even tho he knows nothing about the situation.. He could’ve just messed up in his job and came back to live with dad, in which case he just broke a family for no reason.. In this chapter too.. He just made up the whole crest thing based on “my family lots our faith” and ran with it instead of just asking what it’s about.. He’s completely schizophrenic with delusions of grandeur.. Bear in mind that if the demon didn’t replace all of the books he’s recommending, all of his customers would just go “uhh, ok man.. I guess I’ll read that later” and never come back.. He tried to treat PTSD with The little prince…
