??? The spell activates for an object falling from just gravity but not a sandstorm? The knife could cause a flesh wound but the sandstorm would take a while to cause bodily harm. Unless you breath it in, then it’d cause a slew of respiratory problems.
Then immediate estimated damage is probably the factor on if it activates or not, and only if it comes from an outside source. So there’s a chance of activation if a naughty child ran up and tried jabbing at you with a pointy stick.
