Kanojo, Okarishimasu - Chapter 306

Chizaru doesn’t have access to his internal monologue (if she did this would have ended long ago, but that’s true for all of us). What she sees is a slowly-maturing boy who want to do whatever is needed for her. She can doubtless do better financially or lookswise. But, what the past three chapters have finally shown us is her seeing him as a servant at heart. A dummy one, but a servant. That goes for the nursery school chapters.

What does she want in a life partner? A handsome attachment to her actress arm? A rich person who will make her career possible? Some combination of those?

Or does her grandfather set the example of what she desires in a husband? If so, then we might actually have hit an important point in the story. Her seeing him as Kaibi called him, someone who will do whatever she needs means that if she’s looking for someone like her grandfather, the research is indeed complete. If so, we need the inevitable blowup with Rukua (and his friend to catch her after), the date of his moving to come and…an actual confession and kiss and then last chapter set a few years in the future at one of her movie openings, Kazuya on her arm, with a big smile. Ten to fifteen more chapters could wrap it up.
