Summary

A brief description of the manhwa Legendary Hero Is an Academy Honors Student:

Back in the Age of Despair, Kyle defeated Erebos, the genesis of evil. Then 5000 years later, he reincarnated as Leo with the memories of his past life intact.

His comrades — the Brave Arron, the Divine Blacksmitsh Dweno, the Poet of the Stars Luna, and the Wise King Lysinas — were all heralded as great heroes.

But the ‘Hero Record’, a gift from the heavens that records the achievements of heroes through the ages, had no record of Kyle whatsoever, and the people of the present treat him like a fictional character.

Angry about the reality he’s found himself in, Leo enrolls at Lumene Academy, the hero academy which houses the Hero Record.

“Fine. I guess I’ll become an honors student to figure out why I was written out of history.”

caught up and dropping this generic story. Nothing is new and it’s a copy & paste damn reincarnation. most female characters shown are love interests and blushes around the mc. Villains have the same old inferiority complex that only target the Mc for 0 reason and wants them dead. Fight scenes aren’t properly made at all and we just see cut scenes then skips to the dead monsters. Mc doesn’t clear misunderstandings about his pheonix or powers and keeps his mouth shut. also speaking Mc should have more knowledge in this era as he was born as a baby. I guess he straight up didn’t learn anything during his whole childhood at all? moreover none of the characters are fresh or unique at all and are just copy and paste personalities with 0 diversity in their characters. this barely behind in follows than eternally regressing knight and myst might mayhem and has more than one my way to see my mom?

This manga is excellent. I enjoy it. The story is well-crafted, captivating, and not overly complex and heavy. The main character is intelligent and possesses common sense, unlike 99.99% of other manga where their protagonists are depicted as extremely idiot and had zero common sense.

Only read 2 chapters. But no special point. The battle scenes are in fact a minus point. I mean, a yap in the middle of a move that is supposed to connect and pleasure our mind with a smooth chain of movement? come on!!

Reading text and watching involves a different area of the brain. Switching between watching fights, reading text, and observing the non-subtle VFX, just simply isn’t pleasuring…

A battle theme is good when:
1. They don’t treat battles like social media. So, no yapper or at least no yap in between moves.
2. No exaggerated VFX but instead draw a clear chain of movement so the battle flow can be understood intuitively. An exaggerated VFX can erase the intuitiveness.
3. Even if the movement isn’t clear, at least don’t yap, make the scene a silent choreography, and again, no exaggerated VFX. A silent chain of movement is infinitely better than a yapper.

At least, this series doesn’t deserve –∞/10.
So, -1/10.

I have read it up to chapter 20. This is my personal opinion. Personally, I rate this as 7 out of 10. The story is enjoyable, but the MC needs more personality. The starting chapters are a bit messy.The pacing of the story and dialogues are a bit off sometimes. This has the potential to get better. :say:

If you say this was original and good, I can’t help you. This is at best mid+, probably going to go downhill, classic story, art is pretty ok. And that’s it.
