I think the mc what’s significant benifit from overthrowing the king
Honestly the two solo mode players (apart from the MC) should be ashamed. Totally ashamed. If only they had HALF of MC’s tenacity, just half, they wouldn’t be SO WEAK.
Tbh i agree with the first clause, they don’t need to do any fighting as long as they help like cleaning or anything
I guess MC allowed this, as this already has happened and he knows outcome that will come from this. As he mentioned hard mode chick lasted till 3rd summon to earth so in this 2nd summon something special might happen

King chose not to heed the warning, thinking that the penalty will dissuade MC. Shame
He’ll get hit with four times (wasn’t his normal attack, like, 200-ish?), if not eight times (“Addition” applied) the damage from MC and get folded like and omlette
wait, killing the king gives you heavy penalty, but that will get cancelled out with the significant reward in changing the king, no…?
but anyway, now MC has valid reason to kill the guy while also receiving rewards, yay!

Why not the lady that does all the managing tasks? She is a strong hard mode player, and is currently the only person MC respects wholeheartedly, and she is good with people. She is more than qualified to be king.
The quest said king can be change n whoever had significant role in change the king get benefit..
MC just wanna ripe the benefit by killing the current King..

But I guess the objective of the monsters might be to kill the king so being king might turn out a disadvantage
