Meok Gwi-Sa is a Monster Hunter that defends humanity by consuming monsters. He was rendered powerless upon the Hell demon’s release. After surviving, he got to know Goyoung. Goyoung is a young man of little build who has suffered from physical infirmity all of his life. During high school, Kang Jong-bo, his boyhood friend, abruptly turns into a bully. Nevertheless, Goyoung’s mysterious talent to devour monsters causes their lives to take an unexpected turn. Goyoung sets off on a treacherous expedition to defend humanity against the Gate to Hell’s imminent menace. Will he be able to master his new abilities and prevent the destruction of the world?

If a new concept emerge, people would react it as weird.

If a common genre, idae and concept in a new manga, people would complain as ‘generic and typical’.

This is one of the problem, some people don’t welcome positively newer concept and on the other hand, they also complain to a common story concept.

The only I can see here,is the humor of the story, the unique concept and strong story line. Even the mc’s power has a past user. It is a great read, for me. I do also not welcome unjustifiable opinions. Don’t judge a manwha/manga/manhua base on the early chapters, wait untill it marinates. Same with the issue and problem of a manga called “i was more overpowered than the hero, so i hid my power!”.

MC has the power to literally vore monsters, and then he poops the victims back to normal without the monster.

It’s gross, not very well made, and it’s really creepy overall

This isn’t interesting to me at all. It’s clear that they’re trying to be silly and funny but it comes off as forced, and unpleasant. There’s constant fart and poo humour, so unless your underage, I can’t see anybody finding this entertaining. Looking at the synopsis and title, I assumed it would be a setting where the mc gained power by eating monsters, instead it introduces us that the mc eats monsters, then shits out their victims (i’m not making this up), the worldbuilding is absolutely awful and makes completely no sense. The previous monster eater who fought against monsters and stopped the end of the world, was defeated by an old grandma with drugged milk, like what? Even the writers/author doesn ‘t take their story seriously, so I have no reason to either tbh.
