Monster Hunter

People who say this has decent art are clearly in need of a psyche evaluation, this makes one piece look like berserk. The story is dogshit, there was a massive chance to make the plot about revenge and getting stronger, however when they got to it, all they did was make the main character insecure about his strength, have a massive ego, and they even told us that the regeneration ability wasn’t unique, it wasn’t even rare, nor was it powerful.
The writing is genuinly dogshit, they went from him being locked up for years, to him being a disciple of one of the worlds strongest hunters, however despite this, he is still looked down upon by everybody else, is significantly weaker, and instead of dealing with monsters himself, gets others to do it.

What’s with authors making the main character a side character? It’s not unique, it isn’t interesting, it doesn’t automatically mean good writing, it’s dogshit. If you’re going to make a one dimensional character like this, make him a badass, not some snivelling wimp.

Reading this, you might read a dozen or so chapters thinking that the mc is a badass and that he wants to get stronger, this isn’t true, his “training” consists only of cutting off his arm and running, nothing to do with his divinity, his unique ability, nothing, you might think he has potential to grow stronger, yet he gets excludes from all fights and just watches them.

The Mc is actually weak and dull, and he looks like a side character. Literally every other character, even the side characters look better than him? The art is dogshit, the story is dogshit, it’s just so lazy. The first 10 chapters were decent, but it seems like they gave up or changed their idea half way.

Only redeeming quality is the first 10 chapters. After that the quality goes down exponentially.
