This is a reminder for myself:
Don’t bother. It has an interesting premise, but the author is either inexperienced or lazy. The characters make decisions for dumb reasons, events happen because they need to without factoring in wider logistical or political concerns, and side characters — i.e. serious threats to people or status quo — are just shuffled away and forgotten if they even have a name at all. Even the translator / editor felt the need to make a vent page by Ch 09 to make a scene slightly funnier. This is the literary equivalent of eating packing peanuts or the cardboard box from a pizza…
