OK, I had to rewrite all of this because of accident and stuff. I try to be concise because the previous was too long but frankly, there is a LOT to say about this battle, especially Oboro’s behavior whose overconfidence over his “power boost” that fails him miserably.

Yes, Light’s cosplay through 2 (or 3 especially the final panel) of his UR Sense/Ability Copy Cards is the main topic but Oboro’s egoism should also be a focus too because this is part 2 of Light vs. Oboro and this is a chapter where his copium finally comes around when reality check is in his face.

See, in an abridged way of saying, Oboro is treated like a rag-doll by Light’s UR Sense/Ability Copy Cards via the Undertaker King’s copied command grab (Copy Aoyuki’s Beast Chain) and more of high tier magic (Copy Ellie’s Grimoire). Due to that performance, Oboro’s self-proclaimed “Absolute Power/ Ultimate Strength” is very much hollow but then again, how can a chronic traitor like Oboro ever understand the virtue of friendship and especially diligence? Yes, with his scornful retort that friendship are nothing but obstacles to him for his ideology about “Power is might”, not even Mitsuhiko and his fellow traitors from Gathering of Races were Oboro’s friends. Consequences? He learn this power the hard way but learning the Unlimited Gacha’s diverse power now make no differences to the villain, is there?

Also, the series will go into a 1 month hiatus because the mangaka wasn’t felling well. So, the only thing we can do is to wish him well. Then again, there are few weeks left to April so prepare to see the Oni Island Arc’s climax and onto one of the longest arc in the series: the Demon Kingdom Saga and it will going to have some tragedy
