Ya know something? If people have a problem for this chapter being “short”, I’d like to say that it.is a relief to see Oboro eventually eat his own words and the Oni Samurai’s own defeat extending Light’s infamous Streak: 16-0.

Yes. If anything, the short chapter is actually poetic because an arrogant swordsman is losing to a combatant who is not forte in sword fighting. If Light wanted to, a finger poke/flick alone should get the Oni TKO’ed anyway and you outta name 1 reason what merit did the Oni Traitor has to force the Undertaker King take out Gugnir? Actually, have nobody bother to ask why Light brought out a sword like Promethus? Despite he himself acknowledges that swordfighting isn’t he forte? Something was Oboro’s personal reason for his betrayal against Light 3 years ago?

I mean, look at Oboro guys. Even with the broken sword and heavy injury by many of Light’s move Oni Traitor is STILL noisy about his swordsman ship all the time until Light shows the power of Prometheus that the Oni’s own words are getting messy . It brings me bacl about one of Oboro’s last hypocrisy,

Oboro mocked Light for the non-aptitude in sword fighting but sword fighting is all he got.

I told people already about this and I will say this again: Most Light’s enemies are arrogant hacks who think that they are betterment in what they do, and breaking their egos are the only thing force them to get their reality check. For Oboro? Him fleeing from Light and his clone instead of fighting to the end heavily implies is that his “Absolute Power/UltImate Strength” is as believable as Sionne’s /Shion’s “test subject’s rejoice by her research” or Nano’s “legendary weapons” shtick.
