I didn’t like this ending. The black elf girl was arrogant sure but she wasn’t stupidly arrogant, she was willing to join sides with the MC if she could do her research, she actually tried to recruit the MC and she only cursed MC because he said her research was tr4sh which is not true. Human experimentation happens in pretty much any fantasy setting, and the n4zis did IRL too so it’s not like it’s impossible to imagine.
Unlike the light elf girl, the black elf could genuinely have become a waifu if MC wasn’t so petty for revenge as if he had a better moral compass (which he doesn’t because he killed people before and he’s likely going to commit genocide and kill all non human races in the world
I want so badly for there to be 1 member of that party who while they were just doing a job they weren’t malicious against him. Like that dragon guy goes back to the spot where they betrayed him and burries a small canister of tea “I truly did enjoy the tea you made.
