I got sucked into this one, but it does update pretty slowly compared to other Chinese series. It’s pretty good, but I recommend putting it off to read until later.

Seems like an interesting read from what I have seen so far, no solid opinions yet because the 19 currently available chapters is not enough content to properly rate it

Judging from the cover art, I expected it to be a goofy/silly manwha that didn’t take it seriously like some of its comedy peers. However, surprisingly and sadly, it’s treading on the halfway point. For the serious side, it’s a pretty bad manhua in terms of world building, details, characters, etc. And to speak on the “comedy,” it’s pretty lackluster like the art. If there was any redeemable quality of the manhua then it would be the mc and the self-aware stereotypes that increase the enjoyability factor. Either way, it’s pretty bad but still enjoyable.

Unless there is a Christmas miracle/curse, all scores are finalized, and I have an innate bias towards stories with snip-bits of romance.
This series is interesting but I’m gonna hold off on rating it until we get to the MC first breakthrough. Because that will probably make or break this manhua. With only 14 chapters out its good but can’t call it great.
hmm so far so good, but I can’t really understand what does his system do… he is supposed to have a 100% chance to break through once he reaches the limit of his realm, but I thing he is talking about the age. So he will break through the foundation stage only after spending a few hundred years in the qi gathering realm?
