Open a portal inside someone’s body and suck out a chunk of their brain. I’d say that was offensive magic. Either that or make them weightless and toss them at the upper atmosphere.
No way I’d buy that BS of space magic not being useful to combat, it one of the most op things in combat bro, you could literally cut your opponent in half with it.
Why not think, “Space is everywhere. Even in objects. I can use space to rip space open,” and create blades with space.

gravity magic is way better in my opinion, its very similar but gravity is a law of the universe, some idiot using his mind to move an object kinda sounds way weaker than literally controlling gravity

This means this guy could theoretically create a black hole and destroy the entire solar system.. and if he created one just 0.015 femtometers big (an atomic nucleus is about 10femtometers big) he could level an entire city (~50 megatons explosion)
That’s absolutely not a class that’s to be underestimated..
But i dont blame the association or whatever trying to keep in check mages or ability users or whatever . Lets be honest However controlling it may seem but without them there would be many people goin on a rampage using their ability for bad stuff

In wheel of time series (the book), MC opens a portal then flips it so it’s horizontal instead of vertical and then slices the monsters like tofu by moving the portal around left and right, I wonder if MC here will end up doing the same thing
