It’s weird. She blames MC for suggesting “mundane” way of thinking, but didn’t know that “mundane” way of thinking is a crime, despite being a heir of the big mage family.
The grandfather of this chick, is weird too. He supposedly chased power, but when his granddaughter got power to ignore any defences and win effortlessly – he got angry…
I really hope mc doesn’t just roll over and accept her verbal abuse when they meet. It wasn’t his fault that all this happened to her. She wanted ideas for attack magic and he gave her some ideas. What she did with it is her fault.
Because you asked for a way to attack?! It was YOUR test you whining little baby. You asked for an attack, he gave it to you, and you decided it was a good idea. Don’t throw this completely on him. If you didn’t ask, you wouldn’t be in this situation.
How is she ruined? Can she not use healing anymore? Why the fixation on her capacity to attack/defend herself as a squishy backliner? Like another comment mentioned they’re probably messing with the simulation to brainwash her into thinking her offensive spells are useless so she locks them down herself.

He never forced you to learn an attack spell, GAR FORCED YOU TO LEARN AN ATTACK SPELL IN ORDER TO SKIP THE APPRENTICESHIP OF A CREEPY ARCHMAGE (despite the family of Lord Hargrave later being retconned as if it has enough influence to let her naturally bypass the apprenticeship). At NO point did he force you to learn the offensive healing spell, he ONLY gave you TWO MODERN MEDICAL TERMS TO RESEARCH, and was completely lost on all further explanations of her findings.

I feel like there’s a decent chance they are making it seem like her offensive healing isn’t working on purpose so she doesn’t use it
“why did he do this to me” are you serious right now..? you basically went ahead and asked for it, and willingly learnt it, and now you are blaming it on him..?
didnt she basically ask for it? considering her family was forcing her to learn a bunch of spells including attack magic so its really her families fault
why did he do this to you? because he didn’t know it was taboo. he legitimately thought he was helping. at the same time, he learned about mages and magic from you, so although it was risky, he saw it as a mutually beneficial relationship. for some reason i thought she’d be hoping he’s okay and that she’d be on his side; but being angry with him for turning out to be a wanted criminal is a lot more realistic. especially since she doesn’t seem to see gar’s control over everything to be unwarranted
