Yeah, well, if the fae didn’t die after it was turned into swiss cheese by rifle caliber shots and being blown up by multiple explosives, I don’t think anything would have been able to kill it
Now that’s even more badass than the original novel. In the novel, Callum used a single corite (cold iron) dart at super-terminal speeds to blow up Ravaeb.
Here, he used an entire magazine of corite armored ammunition to turn Ravaeb to Swiss Cheese. And it was EPIC!
When he was using the volcano earlier, I thought he should also try releasing a small jet of water from the ocean floor—like a water sword that could slice through almost anything. In the end, though, his final attack worked pretty well even without my idea, lol.
Spacial Magic getting more and more dangerous in the eyes of the world… Archimage Duvall will be fuming about it

I have to comment or I’ll explode.
1) grenades too big
2) schroodinger pins: remain in grenades but come out at the same time
3) thermite grenades have way less heat than a stream of lava
4) Accelerating cartridges instead of just bullets is justified because they were not fired. But. That will immensly lower the density of the projectile. It will also tumble if not spun, making the drag worse and potentially altering the trajectory enough to miss the next portal.
5) terminal velocity depends on density, mass and aerodynamics and for a full cartridge is rather low
6) You are better off accelerating tapered rods of tungsten or toolsteel, though that’s excuseable because the MC would have to come up with the idea.
