Peerless Alchemist

Having read seven chapters, i’m seeing more a pattern with Manhua’s. A sudden jump with no explanation of the character or background or lore. A jump to another body, with abilities cultivated in another lifetime, actions that don’t explain or justify anything, no thought processes, nothing.

Seems like Mary Sue fiction and little more, just with Chinese names. All in all it gets boring since you’re just watching things unfold with seemingly no risk, no challenge, no stakes. At the same time it’s written in a way to make it seem the ‘main character’ is in the right, when likely she is not, coming out as an arrogant OP and not someone i actually care to read about.
