No matter how overused the whole “Killing whoever you want is just the way of Jianghu/Murim/x” straight to “HOW DARE YOU KILL WHOEVER YOU WANT!?” trope is, it’s always just satisfying enough to put up with when it’s executed properly
The fact that this guy used to be a random 14 year old in the streets just goes to show how true the phrase “Villains aren’t born, they are made” is. This guy went from just wanting to survive to having no regard for life itself. He just avenges whoever he deems worthy of his time. That’s not being a hero, thats just being a monster that kills other monsters more than innocents. I don’t blame him, but still, he could have at least done some more good, like sparing some of the harmless disciplines
