Just read up to ch 80 and STOP. Perfect story so far…

From ch 81 and on., our MC becomes the ‘good ol boy’ who’ll help every goddamn annoying people. “We attacked you first, almost killed you,,, so my bad, can we be friends?” MC character falls.

S1 was peak. S2 was.. okay I guess. After this, boring as hell in my opinion. The story is absolutely nowhere. reached chapter 104 and really cant go on.

As of Chapter 119 this is easily in my top 5, very good read imo.
The story is not boring, doesn’t obsess on the power scaling after defining the mindset of the MC

Antags intorduced many chapters ago still loom in readers minds about if he can beat them even now which to me is hard to do in a story of a character that is strong. And I can’t wait until that inevitable rematch.

Currently its still keeping the style and character traits whilst exploring a new side/emotion to the mc compared to his drive before which is a genuinely interesting read

is the story good? fuh no, its typical murim story the only cool part is he’s an assassin
will you remember any names of character or techniques? nah the guy is called smth they call him a monster, is he righteous? probably maybe demonic
the world building. its not a lot i mean the names of the sects are somewhat mixed up i think, they could not be but i think im right
is the art good? HOLY THE ART IS AMAZING top 5 murim art definitely
the fights? HELLL YEAH the fights are class, super good
the translation? we dont talk about it, it buns
character development? maybe shi i actually dont know, there very well could be but i dont think so
OVERALL/ TLDR- the art good, story nah. sum good slop this is

I feel like season 1 over shadow the latest seasons no matter how much you read if you still remember the action from season 1 nonetheless it’s really great especially because it have a assassin MC and great story
