Very messed up that even the guild master can’t step in and approve the promotion and who cares about the contracted adventurer opinion ? What is the point of even delaying it to 3 months ? Beating a level 55 should make the mc already an A rank as he solo the boss monster while the contracted B rank wanted to run away and was thinking there needs to be like army of team to take it out.
I was just thinking that one of two things would happen. Either the vice-chairman would show up, or mc would grind like crazy to just skip B rank and promote straight to A rank.
Funny enough I actually thought it would be the second one that would happen, guess I was wrong lol
MC should just move, they clearly don’t want him in that guild so that would fix it.

So because a belligerent guild staff member was obviously causing trouble, defiled an official duel and then committed murder, you can’t change the MCs rank because of their decisions?
Well that’s some disgusting bureaucracy!
There’s got to be a limit to how delusional one can be. He got rekt by Ikoma once, failed to kill him with a sneak attack, got rekt by the boss class monster, got absolutely destroyed by Ikoma a 2nd time, losing an arm in the process. And since Ikoma killed the boss monster he absolutely couldn’t do anything against, and eve gained 6 levels from it, he’s now quite a bit stronger than he used to be. While he has undeniably become much much weaker. There is absolutely no chance that he can hurt the MC now. Just give up already.
Nevermind, he’s complately absolutely screwed. That said some laws in the guilds should be changed, decisions made by contracted Adventurers caught breaking multiple laws and getting fired for that should definitely be subject to careful investigations and possibly overturned.
You didnt have to hear them to act. You could have issue an order recognizing his accomplishments and announce him advacement to B rank.
