It’s kind of a shame:

The premise is not unique but still very interesting
The story progression is not innovative but decent

But – The dialog / character interactions kinda suck, more often than not the characters just explain everything (i mean that literally) in dialog, that’s not how human speech works, every time it happens it makes me feel insulted, as if I am some child that needs to be spoon fed everything or else i won’t get it myself.
Literally just cutting 30% of the dialog might make the story more enjoyable.

I am not sure if this might just be because of the translation, since this does heavily remind me of what AI writing aides come up with, but regardless of why it happens, it just ruins the vibe for me because I just cannot ignore it.

I suggest a drinking game where you take a shot every time a character does or says something just for them to explain that exact thing once more in dialog right after, by chap 10 you would probably not notice the issues anymore.

If the dialog issue were to be resolved then i would probably rate this story at 8.5/10 but I admit I have rather low standards and particular tastes so this might not be objective.
