Well that just about explains why subjugation ranks are 3 above normal in this story: normal people that can’t allow themselves to die and learn from fatal mistakes are not able to use 100% of what their stats can do… if what the MC guessed was right and that instructor had 10 times his own stats, then regular people can’t even reach 10% of their potential.
Of course, it’s because they can’t afford to die to learn, unlike the MC who learned by playing a game for 3 years where you can learn from mistakes that lead to the death of your character
