Ash is embellishing the story a bit, lol. She’s not only a witch, but a combat-type extraordinary one, at that. She went against one normal knight, armed with one gun, which was an early model pistol. Not only that, but she only won because she flew into the knight after being shot and knocked him down.
Whilst he wouldn’t have died, she fell down a few seconds after & would have definitely died if she wasn’t healed. The killing blow was received by her first, but luckily for her, the winner was decided by who was knocked over/knocked out first.
He also had little time to train with a pistol. Given more practice and given a better pistol, she would have easily lost. Even though she’s seen the power of his weapons, she’s not too smart. How could she not account for the obvious evolution of his weaponry seeing as it literally came from nowhere within months? It should be easy to conclude that his power is currently infantile despite where he is, and will drastically expand within the next year & more so afterwards.

Calling it now, if that bow witch evolves, she would be able to create a rifle. But she needs to know how rifles work and she can’t eyeball it.
