I feel like that guy may be one of the rare male witches… I may be WAY off base, but it seems like the kind of ass pull / plot twist that will happen later on.
side note: calling someone a ‘mortal’ as an insult is fucking hilarious to me. Because you can have as much crazy magic bullshit as you please, but a bullet going through your skull will kill you just as easily.
