People and comments thinking author is clever…
They have just been talking about a fight between species and the MC immediately makes an assumption about it being an acceleration of evolution.
Even if this is the direction the author is going in… it’s still not a logical conclusion to make at this point.
A fight for survival is not “evolution”.
It’s as logical as a detective accusing the butler of the murder… because that’s what butlers do in stories.
