I tried reading the Novel as I couldn’t wait anymore, but this manhua, which I agree with the commenter below, is far, far superior.
The novel never goes into such comical detail with the side characters.
The side characters get a lot of love.
Also, the novel is… too focused on the MC and makes him look like an ass. Seriously, the more I read about him, the more I look down on him most of the time.
He will still stay by the mountain but the reasons for staying are unworthy of protagonist status, so I hope there will be some pleasant changes in this manhua.

The fact that no matter what realm MC is in, he can’t beat his waifu endurance AND the fact they did it for THREE years is wild
Tbf this is one of the few manhuas where the adaption is far superior to the novel. The images add so much to the scenes and they’ve really built those characters into likeable people who you wish to cheer for, while in the novel there’s little to no comedy just – “he got X, he asked about it from Y, Y is surprised” and “MC is op, he disappears after defeating enemy in 1 shot, everyone is surprised”. At some point even the side characters get left behind with little to no mention about them, while I can’t imagine it happening in this manhua.
