Classes are made based on ranking of several factors like magic ability and capacity etc. Not to mention each class would be taugh differently according to their level. How can school change an A rank student into a F rank which should give severe disadvantage to his studies as majority in that class are severally lacking behind unless he loses some of his power and becomes E rank or something it’s understandable. Class A would focus more on becoming stronger than others while F would be stuck on basics or tricks to become an average student
Ah yes, time for the mandatory rebellion at school. Oddly they never go for a noble institution but instead a school filled with both nobles and commoners
