Isn’t this just another example of how useless the teachers are that they can’t even communicate the fundamentals to students that are struggling? Even the placement of the MC in the lowest class is an adherence to irrelevant testing tools (I say irrelevant since in practical application it is clear his mana power is not 0, etc.) shows the teachers only use the rote process and not the subject.

So… 1.) She has such a high inherent mana pool and her control being so low, the pressure of her mana leaving her body disrupts the spell she tries to cast. 2.) Some aspect of her mana is volatile, actually making it MORE DIFFICULT to control and channel. Someone who already has good control would be able to adapt fine, but she just has no chance to actually improve her control.
