The prince’s problem with Vlad is not one of questioned “usefulness”. Just considering his accomplishments and reputation within these few months proves he’s plenty useful. The ‘problem’ is he’s not 100% in subjection to the prince–He thinks for himself, guided by his own conscience, which makes him perceived as a liability.
I’m glad Vlad has a limited (7yr?) contract instead of a lifetime servitude. Once that’s up, I’d definitely move on to bigger and better things.
