Noooooooo! I thought we would finally have some nice romance and then that jackass of a protagonists fumbles it this baaaad! Fuuuuuuck. I hope that we get a nice romance arc oor atleast a few episodes where they make up and date or atleast have any kind of progress at all.
Actually holding the blade of the sword with your other hand was actually used in real life knight combat some even held just the blade and would whack the enemy for blunt damage because the armour of a knight is too thick but this practice is only ever usefully when the people fighting are armoured plus a halbert or mace is much more effective.
