Strength Through Adversity, My Cultivation Knows No Limits

This is unironically a refreshing read and a good change of pace from many of the other power-scaling/rebirth/isekai manhwas on this site that take themselves too seriously despite offering nothing terribly interesting outside of their premise. Many of them are too formulaic, relying too heavily on overused tropes from other manhwas with a twist yet falling short when it comes to providing interesting or entertaining characters, stories, or interactions. Basically making it a dread to read their weekly updates hoping for a crumb of entertainment. Personally I think that if you’re going to reuse the same bullshit everyone else has already used a hundred times then you’re better off leaning into ridiculousness and focusing more on the characters and their interactions to make an entertaining story. Which this manhwa does a great job of. It almost feels like a spoof of a spoof because of how much bs it pulls out and so far the characters crack me up. And while the slang might be offputting to others i think it’s oddly charming. It makes the manhwa easy/fun to read and it sure as shit shit beats tf out of the alternative (shitty machine translations). It’s only 6 chapters in but im already a fan and I hope more updates are posted cause as far as im concerned this is a diamond in the rough.
