Summary
A brief description of the manhwa Golden Martial God:
Mok Hwi‑yeong, a great merchant of the Central Plains, is killed in a demonic cult’s attack. The next thing he knows, he has regressed thirty years into the past, back to his childhood days training as an outer-sect disciple of the Wudang sect.
Before him appears a mysterious bamboo slip—a “shop” that lets him buy martial talent with money. With a merchant’s brain and a pay‑to‑win system that sells everything from heavenly insight to a Martial King’s physique, the returned Mok Hwi‑yeong begins shaking the entire jianghu from within Wudang.

Whats the only thing to do when u see 3.x star rating: Using the back button and keep scrolling
if you value your time, read something else
I quite like it …cuz I have seen MCs way more coward and pathetic.. yes it’s slow but ..I like it … The story is nothing unique but either way I like it
The whole idea of the talent shop was really good, but the writing is just horrendous
What a waste of potential, pushover mc not utilizing his god-given ability. He folds quickly under pressure and cowers like a dog tucked tails between the legs
Not really my thing. I cannot stomach the “I follow what I am told to do even if I have other plans cause plot” types of stories. But it can be interesting for some people.
Absolutely shitty cowardice rabbit, duno why he regressed better off dead
The gener of martial arts is gone to shit after day by day
This is rediculus, I feel hard to find a single Good thing about this mc is a freaking dumb irritating idiot who got Good opportunity after cannot make up his mind do this type of characters people and author like so fuking shit
agree above ave.nothin new but good
above average .
4/5
Pretty good has refreshing stuff other than just martial art stuff. The minus thing is MC throwing future information but not intense.
This site has a lot of psychopath readers, so understand why the series rated like that
Average mid generic
Worth reading? For me, nah. My watchlist is already too big
why is rating bad??
I mean this thing is not like 2 star trsh

The hate it gets is not deserved.
Obviously it’s not a masterpiece by any means, just because people are used to muscle-headed reincarnation or regresion of a master or isekai where a “system” would be familiar, they can’t enjoy a story of a merchant who never had a talent for martial arts but gets a second chance where he can actualy have a try, more then that, even though he became a succesful merchant, he still wanted to become a martial artist, deep inside it could even be his dream since as a child he probably played as a great hero with other children.
Comments like: “What a waste of potential, pushover mc not utilizing his god-given ability. He folds quickly under pressure and cowers like a dog tucked tails between the legs” or “Absolutely shitty cowardice rabbit, duno why he regressed better off dead” make totaly no sense because definitly the man who stood up to his seniors on multiple occasions and did not back down until he achived his goal or something close enough to it that he could be satisfied and only backed down when the best outcome would be becoming a cripple is not a man with a dream for the future where something like that would be a big obstacle, but a lowly mutt who won’t even bite the one who kicked him.
C’mon if you want to read a power-fantasy just read that, this is not a power trip of a thirteen year old who now has the chace to show that he is better then everyone. This is a story of a merchant at heart who has no choice but to be a martial artist. He’s no noble, or son of a martial family, he’s a son of a farmer with no position, standing or way of defending himself if something came to pass, but he is still climbing higher, reaching for his goal of a merchant
