Strength Through Adversity, My Cultivation Knows No Limits

Typical chinese trraash with worthless dude getting a system and becoming unreasonably OP with zero effort, zero talent, zero virtue.
In this case he grows more the more he’s attacked (= facing adversities).

• the art is above average for a manhua, tho generic and way too saturated and overwhelming with kilometers of flashy explosions and closeups mostly in dark background where you can’t even see what’s happening.
• there is the typical chinese abuse of chibi format ever 2 panels, mixing cheap action and cheap comedy in a way that feels out of place and forced like mixing water and oil.
• typical “how dare you!” narrative with zero substance, extremely stereotyped, formulaic and repetitive, with no linear progression. It’s the same thing happening again and again just with a different enemy.
• in the 40 chaps I managed to read before giving up out of boredom, there was not ONE single even slightly likeable character. The mouse is somehow ok but also kinda annoying with her shallow slow witted pseudo cuteness. And the rebellious disciple as comedic relief is insufferable.

I do occasionally enjoy traash chinese slops like e.g. urban cultivation stories, specially if there is a ruthless MC, but here the mix isn’t my cup of tea and I can’t think at one single chapter where I felt “yeah, cool”.
