This Manhua is so bad I had to add a new number to properly rate it. It’s complete garbage. I rate this Manhua after reading from Chapter 1 to 100 and then spoiling myself to Chapter 178 cuz I couldn’t take it anymore, I was just so bored and angry that I had to end reading this. I was intending to read all of it just for the sake of completing it since I already read too far into this Garbage Manhua, but I couldn’t take it after Chapter 100. And after spoiling myself to Chapter 178, nothing has changed for the better.

This Manhua had Potential, it truly did. And I was hooked and excited to read it. The first Chapter’s were PEAK. And laid the foundations for what could’ve been an perfect Manhua. 1st Chapter literally had Korean Manhwa Level Perfect Artstyle. But no, overtime the whole Manhua degraded and became garbage. The Art went from the Perfection that was the first chapter to the usual sh1t Artstyle of Chinese Manhua’s. The Character’s went from interesting, to downright insufferable, cringe and annoying. Same with the translations and dialogue. The story became garbage and dragged on and on, and made no sense. The pacing, the sense of time, it was laggy and absent. The fight scenes were bad and unenjoyable. And so on. The problems this Manhua has became too great that I couldn’t finish reading this just for the sake of completing reading this. Also, this Author doesn’t know how to write women, or anything for that matter. The Author and Artists poured all their time and effort on the 1st Chapters, after that. Garbage.

Let me give specific examples for the problems I’ve seen as I read up to Chapter 100 especially for the people who will disagree with me or want specific examples.

1st, Expectations and Disappointment. Reading the Title, looking at the Cover, Reading the Bad Description, Reading the 1st Chapter’s. All these led me to believe that the Main Character who’s from an Murim Cultivation World, would have to adapt to his new life, regain his old cultivation and and get even stronger, and take revenge on the people who wronged him like his Family, his Classmates and so on. But no, that’s not what happens. In fact, the Manhua literally skips MC’s School Life altogether which was and still is both very interesting, and important to the story. The characters who were introduced In his school life in the first chapters were all forgotten in the next chapters. At this point, this would’ve been better had they kept the original Main Characters Personality, rather than replacing him with this Murim Cultivation World Personality. The Original would’ve been far more interesting than this new MC we have now. It’s been 100 Chapters and MC hasn’t even gotten stronger. I even spoiled myself to the last available chapter and no, MC is still weak. And the Story POORLY Introduced “Ancient Martial Arts” which means MC is no longer Special, everyone has Magic Martial Arts it seems. 😐 Heck, there was literally a female character introduced who was GLAZED so hard making readers think that she’s another “Ancient Martial Artist”, but no, she’s actually just a Human who’s some kind of Assassin, Government Agent or Mercenary… Meaning, a Fraud. She was glazed unbelievably hard in her introduction when she unrealistically killed 2 people and beheaded with a Knife the second one. MC was going on and on about how she has bloodlust and that her attacks are so fast he couldn’t see it. Bruh, didn’t you dodge bullets? Aren’t you a Magic Martial Artist? What do you mean her slash with a knife that was unrealistically able to behead a Man was “Fast”. 🤦‍♂️ Basically, she should’ve been the protagonist then cuz she’s way more interesting and could be “THE STRONGEST ABANDONED DAUGHTER” instead of your weak abandoned ass.

2nd, Poorly Written Female Characters, Romance and Bad Harem. MC does the bare minimum, and all of a sudden all the female characters instantly become ADDICTED to him like a drug and can’t live without him, so they actively look for him to the detriment of themselves and their loved ones. These female characters that fall in love with MC, LITERALLY BECOME 1D1OTS. I could say more and more, cuz in 100 Chapters there’s been a lot of Bullsh1t. But man, I really just want to end this and move on to something more entertaining. The Fake Fiance is literally the most perfect example of a Poorly Written Female Character, Romance, and Bad Harem. She is the Daughter of one of the Richest and most powerful Families in China, and she wants to help protect and find MC since MC is literally just running around all over the place. Yet, what does this Rich Daughter do? She leaves by herself to go to dangerous places like an Lawless Town and almost gets R@p3d. Luckily she had plot armor and another Wannabe Harem Member from the Military, MC saved came to this town so conveniently just to save the day. (This Red Hair Military Girl’s appearance here is the example of “Time Lag”. Also Poorly Written Female Character, as well as Soldier. Vietnam literally invaded China in the chapter she’s introduced in yet she’s allowed to go on leave and search for MC? Instead of being an eyewitness and preparing for war? Bruh.) this Fake Fiance went from an interesting Character, to one of the dumbest Character’s in this Manhua. Her stupidity is actually criminal. SHE IS THE DAUGHTER OF A POWERFUL FAMILY, she’s also being hunted down by another powerful family, yet… She leaves by herself without informing her family and almost gets r@p3d, when she was almost killed for getting too close to MC in MC’s old 1st home just trying to protect a Plant. Instead of using her family’s wealth, connection’s and power to find and protect MC. She’s going on a wild chase aimlessly for MC and almost predictably gets herself in danger. All of the Female Characters that join MC’s Harem are all insufferable.

3rd, Dragging and Bad Writing. I’mma end this quick, but the whole manhua went downhill after the first chapters. School Arc would’ve been interesting, but nah, they just skipped it all. Like, in one of the chapters where Red Hair Girl Harem Wannabe Member is introduced, she and her Military Group were being shot at and killed by invading Vietnamese Soldier’s, it’s unclear who started the fight, but either way, they’re People’s Liberation Army Soldier’s, yet, there’s only 3 or 5 of them facing off against numerous Vietnamese Soldier’s. WHERE’S YOUR GUNS? WHERE’S YOUR REINFORCEMENTS?! Bruh. This would be War once this reaches the ears of Xi Jin Ping. Also, it’s been 100 Chapters and MC hasn’t gotten stronger, he’s not done anything interesting aside from save girls and they become part of his unofficial harem. I even spoiled myself to the last available Chapter and yes, nothing has changed. This Manhua may have planned to have 1000+ chapters for us to actually see MC do something interesting.

I REALLY wanted to love this Manhua, I really did. But overtime, it just proved that it was just another Garbage Manhua as I read up to Chapter 100. It had potential, but the potential was wasted.

You’re better off reading “Descent of the Demonic Master” and “What do you do when you become an Immortal” which did the Martial Arts and Cultivation in the Real World Better (Descent of the Demonic Master) along with Romance(What do you do when you become an Immortal.). There was also a third one, but I forgot. I’ll come back here and reply it to me when I remember. Seriously, Mangaread needs to allow us to edit comments.

Unless this gets a Korean Manhwa Remake. Don’t read this at all. Don’t waste your time. Rate it 1 star. And go read something else on this site.
