Summary
A brief description of the manga A Heroic Tale About Starting With a Personal Relations Cheat(Ability) and Letting Others Do the Job:
The hero and weapon are the strongest connections! An exhilarating fantasy that lurks from the back of the world!
Ned, a young man who has been behind many of the world’s greatest achievements, using a weapon known as human networking.
One day, however, he is judged by the selfish king to be a liability and expelled from the heroic party.
Ned decides to start as an adventurer from scratch. But his life as an adventurer is naturally out of the ordinary, as he is adored and connected with everyone from the leader of the knights to the princess of the mermaid tribe…
‘Can I get help from the Wisdom King and the Great Sage to find this person?’
Meanwhile, the King is coming to a realization. The heroes’ party was full of capable, but incredibly problematic children, and that it was Ned that controlled them..
Thus opens a new story of a hero who changes the world from behind the scenes with his motto of “using connections”.
This is kinda interesting but the updates tho… even so it better than a 3.7 I think probably around 3.8/3.9 not 4 and above tho
Another male character who is weak and takes a back seat to strong female characters for no reason then to make females feel superior
Its good enough, here’s hoping it updates!
It had potential but its art is pretty bad and it has been out for a year and it only has 3 chapters. Don’t recommend. I also don’t understand how it takes a year to color a few chapters.
If this updates fast it’s more fun
It’s a good example of, excellent concept, terrible execution. Author is tring to run a socialite main character, without having any idea of how socializing works himself ( not to shame him for it tho but bad choice for a MC ). MC is allegedly super good at making connections and friendships all around, however, since the two first chapter we’ve see him do NOTHING about that, he has only shown his connections he already made. Even when he had excellent moments to make new connections with possibly helpful people, he didn’t show anything to win them over, except to show his already made relationships.
How did he made his first contacts then ? But mere luck ? not only he made the girl in the boat hate him during his first seconds of talking, the knight guy who apparently was taken advantage of also hates him, and he couldn’t even sway or even say hello to the King, his ”super powerful connections” , didn’t even allowed them to talk in secret with his previous party members.
Basically, the author has no idea how to run a socialite character, MC’s ”connections”, are the author’s deus ex machina fix it all for the situation.
Maybe it will be better in the future or we’ll get to see what the MC’s actually good for, but I doubt I will see it, then again I’ve been wrong before on these kind of predictions.
Althought I can already see lots of tropes I hate.
Looks fun…
really like this manga’s direction, plus the mc isn’t op himself, but uses his own contacts as his strength (basically 1 point of how to be successful in your work life)
Nice, has potential, mc is reasonably cool)
