All the characters are really dumb and the king and his entourage are comically evil. Gonna have to turn the brain off to enjoy this one. Not neccesarily a bad thing just probably intended for younger audiences.

the MC is 60 but can’t figure out a smartphone that would only make sense if he was 80 the author is slow

It’s okay to feel out of touch due to age. It’s okay to be a boomer.
It is NOT acceptable to be dumb for a 60 year old. It is NOT acceptable to have low awareness and common sense for a 60 year old. It is NOT acceptable to be NOT think about the consequences after surviving for 60 years.
