A brief description of the manga Summoned by Being Involved?! And I Was “God”??:
The main character reached retirement age and tried to live comfortably for the rest of his life. But suddenly he was summoned to another world to help defeat the Demon King.
In another world, his level turned out to be the lowest compared to others with whom he was summoned.
Wait, I was called to become “God”? And all my stats are top notch?
The nonsense is strong with this one. It starts strong, then is borderline unbearable for 20 chapters because the MC is as dense as a neutron star. Then, around chapter 30, it soft-reboots as a “Get Smart” style farce. I kind of like it now, MC getting hired by three different groups for what he thinks are odd jobs but he’s actually triple-booked to murder himself, that’s the kind of silly I can get behind. Frustrating but still fun, I recommend with caveats.
Never before have I seen an MC with such a level of dipshittery. MC is likeable for like 12 chapters, but he never gets better. As of chapter 42 he still allows people to walk all over him, never stands up for himself, never uses his power for anything.
This is definitely one of those ‘turn your brain off and just laugh’ kind of stories.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s not awful or even bad… it just kinda… is? The plot exists, and the story itself isn’t terribly told, it’s just kinda all over the place. But it also tied together in a pretty cohesive way. It’s definitely interesting if nothing else.
Its not bad. Art is pretty good, the story is… meh. MC acts too dumb for a 60 years old.

Cliché kun did it again… The mc isn’t summoned but got involved in someone else’s summon… Mc’s stats are the lowest so he is underestimated… But actually his stats are super powerful… And to prove that this mc has the most powerful stats ever, he must become a god (the only original thing is the god stuff, and it’s because other authors didn’t even dare to write this)

The words of Mark Twain feel especially apt for this manga: anyone trying to find depth or meaning in this work will be shot. This is a full-blown farce through and through, the silliness is as unabashed as it’s over-the-top, and only outdoes itself with each passing chapter. MC is a genial airhead to a fault and then some (ok ok, make that a lot more) and is a walking magnet for misunderstandings of truly colossal proportions which only get exponentially bigger as the plot progresses. As long as you don’t have the wrong set of expectations walking in, this can be an absolute hoot!
